THEATRE
Through the last 8 years, I've created cinema trailers, social media teasers, and behind-the-scenes films for a number of different theatre productions at Folketeateret in Norway such as Phantom of the Opera, Mathilda, Miss Saigon, Les Misérables, Chess and many more. Usually it's a one-woman-show where I do it all; from directing, to cinematography and editing. This keeps the costs down, the communication effective and the production non-intrusive to the rehearsals. However, depending on the scale of the production, I can of course bring on a bigger team as well.
These type of productions are beneficial as it builds anticipation and excitement among potential audiences by drawing them into the experience before they even step into the theatre. These cinematic elements provide a glimpse into the story, showcase the talents of the cast and crew as well as it highlights the production's unique aspects. Additionally, behind-the-scenes footage offers a personal touch, fostering a connection between the audience and the performers by revealing the hard work and creativity involved in bringing the production to life.
